Ingredients

Equipment: Rice pot, Large bean pot

  • 2 cups long-grain rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt

Bean Stew

  • 400g dried kidney or red beans — soaked overnight
  • 2 onions — diced
  • 3 tomatoes — diced
  • 3 garlic cloves — minced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup coriander
